All Drupal sites have blocks to one extent or another. They hold menus, lists, widgets and other snippets of information critical to making up a complete page. The key to getting the right blocks to appear on the right pages is a well-thought out URL structure using PathAuto and the key to making them look the way you want is Block Theme.

We'll go over the basics of block configuration and themeing and also talk about the importance of URL structure, not only for page elements but also for webstats reporting.
