Full session description & video:
This session will cover the insides of Drupal core's PHPTemplate theme engine and how to use it to make Drupal look like your design, instead of making your design look like Drupal. We all know how to use CSS to get us most of the way there. We'll cover how to get the markup we want that gets us the rest of the way, plus a little Javascript for good measure.
- Where does the markup come from?
- How can I change the markup?
- Form theming tricks
- Views theming tricks
- Javascript the Drupal way
This session will talk a lot about PHP, but designers fear not. The talk is about theming, not development. It's not going to get too nerdy in there.
Intended Audience Skill Level:
Intermediate / Advanced
