This session will dive into the history of Mediacurrent and what we have learned.  To preface, Mediacurrent is not a VC-backed, Silicon-Valley based, recurring revenue product company that has a 3-year hyper-growth plan to do an IPO. Rather, about five years ago we were like many of you in the Drupal and open-source software community. We were two life-long friends setting out on a new business venture. We began our partnership in the back of a 100 sq foot office with limited capital and resources.

Today, Mediacurrent has one of the deepest Drupal portfolios in North America. We have helped high-profile, global brands adopt an open-source based web strategy. Mediacurrent has now organically grown to 40+ amazing team members across 12 states. We have learned a lot over the years about growing a Drupal-based business. This presentation will share six of these valuable lessons.
