Panels Everywhere

The idea sounds intriguing. You want panels to control everything, the header, the footer, the whole site. But where do you start? How would you build a panels everywhere theme from scratch? Why would you do this? I answer a lot of these questions and go hands on with a demonstration where we walk through the bits of code required to make a barebones panels everywhere theme for Drupal 7. I decided to use this on the last full site build I was a part of and have been converted. Perhaps I can convert you too.
