Overview: Integration with Symfony is quite possibly the biggest change in Drupal history, but few of us know what that really means outside of turning Drupal into an object-oriented framework. This session provides an overview of the Symfony components that ship with Drupal, as well as in-depth exploration of some components that we at Turner have found to be useful in day-to-day module development.
Expected attendees: This session is targeted for module developers, but anyone interested in learning some Drupal internals is welcome.
Session takeaways: Developers will be able to use Symfony components or Drupal classes based on Symfony components to avoid having to re-invent any wheels.
