I am the head of tech for the Center for Computer-Assisted Legal Instruction, a small 501(c)(3) non-profit consortium of mostly US law schools. I'm the sole developer/admin for our Drupal 7 website www.cali.org. The site gets between 3,000 & 5,000 unique visitors a day, mostly law students who spend upwards of an hour per visit working on the online tutorials that are our main product. We've been running the site on Drupal 7 for nearly a decade after migrating it from Drupal 6.

This presentation is for anyone who has created a website using Drupal and is interested in discovering a standardized, simpler, and faster way to model and build a website's content and information architecture. 

I would like to talk about the Configuration Split module in Drupal 8/9. One of the coolest features introduced in Drupal 8 was Configuration management.  The developers now can easily push configuration changes to different environments. There are cases where certain configurations need to be enabled only in certain environments.

The Webform module is an accessible, flexible, and extendable form builder and submission manager for Drupal 8/9. You can build forms that are accessible to all users, address any user-facing form requirement, customize your forms using contributed add-ons or custom code.

Leveraging the simplesamlphp_auth module to enable a Drupal 7/8 site to support SSO can be a daunting task for a beginner.

Where do I start? I don't know what I don't know, so how can I even get started? How can I see what is going on behind the scenes? How do I debug this locally? What is SAML metadata?

In this session, we'll be learning about Facebook's Open Graph protocol, a series of meta tags which define how your URLs will appear when shared on Facebook's platforms. To test this, we will also take a quick look at Facebook's Sharing Debugger tool.
