In this session we'll review some new FIGMA features introduced at Config 2023 in June that will help you supercharge your design process and share the love with your clients and your development team. From variables to modes to Dev Mode, you'll leave this session with new tools in your toolbox to enhance your design process and improve the designer to developer experience.

Depending on the needs of your organization, taking advantage of RSS (Really Simple Syndication) feeds to automate your newsletter campaigns can be a simple way to increase traffic to your blog, especially if you don’t want to pay for a fancy marketing automation tool. During this session we will discuss the basics behind building out automated newsletter campaigns in RSS-compatible email marketing tools such as Mailchimp.

Consisting of a show and tell of a selection of large and small site installations from various departments, schools and colleges at the University of Georgia, panelists including back end and front end developers, public relations experts, librarians, and web coordinators  will share their ship's timeline with Drupal versions and examples from the past, present and future.

This will be a session about the W3C's Web Accessibility Initiative - Accessible Rich Internet Applications (ARIA) suite of web standards. Developers use ARIA to highlight the accessiblity features of their websites. The session is intended for developers who are famliar with accessibility and want to take advantage of ARIA to enhance the accessiblity of their web components.

Attendees will learn how to use Paragraphs and Entity Reference with Layout to control content layout on a per node / entity basis, but in a much cleaner way.  No more creating dozens of container Paragraphs for every conceivable layout.

Entity Reference with Layout https://www.drupal.org/project/entity_reference_layout is a module that implements layouts as a container Paragraph.  It offers editors a clean, intuitive modal interface for layout selection and content creation.

Has Layout Builder surpassed the Paragraphs module as the way to build a set of flexible components for design systems? This talk will cover the pros and cons of both approaches and dive into a real world example project that is using Layout Builder with custom built design controls for layout, color, size, spacing, animation and more.

This is an interactive session in which we run a series of 3-4 demos, and the audience provides structured UX feedback. Demos can include prototypes, working websites and apps, or rough wireframes. The feedback is structured into three rounds: first impressions, positive feedback, and criticisms/constructive feedback. The structure allows us to fit in a lot of content in a short time, and gets everyone in the audience participating and practicing their UX skills. 

This talk is around the potential of splitting up the theming layer of Drupal. It'll be interesting for people familiar with Drupal Theming and those who are heavily interested in cutting edge frontend.
